5th & 6th Grade Teams
This is the engine of rugby in America. These players are at an age, with an attitude and ability to launch into life as a rugby player. Our elementary school players begin to test themselves physically and mentally, while enjoying the traditions of rugby touring, tournaments and brotherhood. This age group emphasizes tackle safety, field awareness and tactical unit skills.
This is the fastest-growing area of our club, and we want to make rugby accessible to as many families as possible. In 2014 we introduced the Viking “Boats” program (Hey, we’re Vikings, right?). The “Boats” are separate groups of young Vikings that practice at different locations, closer to their homes during the week, but battle together on the weekend.
Practices are held in Lynwood and Seattle’s Magnuson Park. Pick the place and schedule that works best for you.
